Hi:
Did anyone try using Lister's protocol for sequencing on Illumina platform.
After I read that protocol it sounded very similar to SOLID. Ribominus, RNA ligation etc
I started to wonder whether it is possible to adopt SOLID transcriptome kit for sequencing on Illumina. Any thoughts.
Also, we used B. Wold version of Illumina's protocol (fragmentation, then RT with hexamers) and still got 3 bias. Perhaps ribo-minus is a way to go, but then coverage should probably increase 3-4 times?
Any comments.
Thanks
