I would get in contact with the sequencing provider and ask for access to the Roche software. That's one of only a few packages I know of which can deal with this problem, the others being commercial software like Clc genomics and perhaps Lasergene. -

I do not have access to the 454 instrument and as such that software. Is there any other easy to use software (trial version) that I can install on my PC and perform the data analysis?

Hi,
I just got back data on a 454 run (.fna and .qual files) on some PCR amplicons. I am on the look out for a software program that can help me do the data analysis including sequence alignment, mapping of these sequences to a reference sequence/sequences etc. Can someone suggest?
