where to find sheep genome

There is always a very nice README file in the ensembl folders which explains the filenames in detail (eg: ftp://ftp.ensembl.org/pub/release-76...ies/dna/README)
In this file you will also find the current Genbank Assembly ID (For sheep: GCA_000298735.1) which contains summarized assembly information.

Just use the top level fasta (or simply "cat *.fa > sheep.fa"). Yes, that's the correct GTF file.

A naive question.
I want to do the RNA-Seq analysis on sheep genome, however I didn't find the sheep genome from http://support.illumina.com/sequenci...e/igenome.ilmn
As you know, if I want to map to sheep genome, I need sequence and annotation file.
Hence I went to
ftp://ftp.ensembl.org/pub/release-76...vis_aries/dna/
But when I get into the web, I find there are many .fa file based on the chromosome. where could I download the full sequence file? Is that
Ovis_aries.Oar_v3.1.dna.toplevel.fa.gz.？
And I thought I need annotation file as well for mapping. And
Is the gtf file on the ftp://ftp.ensembl.org/pub/release-76/gtf/ovis_aries/
is fine?
