By coincidence I was already writing a blog series on my involvement with MPEG-G and where I think it went wrong. It now appears my blog is a response to the paper, but it was written before I saw it (bar the aggendum). Having seen it now, it even emphasies the problems more.
There will be more coming. Originally intended for early next week, but we'll see how things progress.
