I’m doing a GWAS using plink and I’m trying to write a covariant file. I can't get my head around the format of a covariant file or even how to write one, could you please explain it to me? How would I write a covariant file including sex and 10 principal components with plink in a Linux command line? I know this is trivial but i'm new to bioinformatics.
