    Is that a question or a statement? (-:

        Heh! Awesome! Well, I'll be there presenting a poster on some of my work - the part that doesn't relate to FindPeaks. I'll also be trying to blog the talks I attend. If anyone from SeqAnswers also wants to meet up, that could be cool.

            That's true. Maybe ECO should just put up a SEQAnswers poster somewhere for all of us to congregate around.

            Oh well - how about this, if people are interested, they should let me know: either find me at my poster, send me an email or leave a message here. If a couple of people come forward, I'll try to arrange something.

              Gah I won't be able to make it this year either. I'm definitely going to regret not going...was looking forward to meeting some of you folks! :P

              Eventually I'm going to have to setup some sort of impromptu booth at one of these conferences...

                    Thanks (=

                    I'm glad they're useful. It makes my sore wrists feel better, knowing that someone is getting some out of them. I'll get around to making a page with an index of all the talks - but probably not 'till the weekend.

                      thanks to you, even though I didn't attend, I feel that I was able to get a good feel of the conference! I look forward to your future organization and updates.

                        Awesome - that's high praise for my rambling notes! I guess it also explains why my hit count jumped 3X over the AGBT weekend. (-;

                          Ok, after some playing around, I figured out how to make a single collection of my AGBT 2009 notes. Here you go:

                                How RNA-Seq is Transforming Cancer Studies
                                by seqadmin

                                Cancer research has been transformed through numerous molecular techniques, with RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) playing a crucial role in understanding the complexity of the disease. Maša Ivin, Ph.D., Scientific Writer at Lexogen, and Yvonne Goepel Ph.D., Product Manager at Lexogen, remarked that “The high-throughput nature of RNA-seq allows for rapid profiling and deep exploration of the transcriptome.” They emphasized its indispensable role in cancer research, aiding in biomarker...

                                by seqadmin

                                Ribonucleic acid (RNA) represents a range of diverse molecules that play a crucial role in many cellular processes. From serving as a protein template to regulating genes, the complex processes involving RNA make it a focal point of study for many scientists. This article will spotlight various methods scientists have developed to investigate different RNA subtypes and the broader transcriptome.
