Hi!
My name's Vincent Baby (yes that's my real last name I know it's not very common and it's of french origin) I'm a grad student in Sebastien Rodrigue's lab in Sherbrooke, Canada and we're working on systems and synthetic biology.
We're trying to design a minimal cell frame which could be reprogrammed so we could add new complex genetic features in its genome. We add some de novo sequencing of entire genomes to do and we used Illumina's genome analyser and we're using Gsassembler (newbler) to assemble them. We have some experience in bioinformatics and we still want to learn more ways to make our work easier. If you want to meet my director he's currently at the SB5.0 in Stanford for those who may be there. Well that's all for now! see ya!
