when you are new to sequencing and start with sanger sequencing

Hi dear Scientists

I been waiting for answers to one of my earlier (1st) post about sanger sequencing but now the forum asking me to do my first post, seems that one didn't go online, , so I am here again.
I am a PhD final year student and working on sequencing, as our institute purchased a SeqStudio this month. I am very naive in it practically, so a lot of questions pop-up every now and then.
currently, we have to optimize a S gene sequence of SARS-CoV-2, with the primers provided by Thermo, and its giving a lot of noise and double peaks in all runs. if someone has been recently into this, please comment here, will discuss it in details.
