How long is an ABI 3130xl 50 cm array if its never been opened and/or used? In other words, what's its shelf-life?

One should remember, that ABI capillary array is made of glass capillaries coated with polymer on the outside, so provided they are kept clean from POP7 on the inside, they may outlast the electrolytic capacitors inside the instrument in storage.... (I would say decades for shelf life).
Obviously the polymer coating on the outside may degrade/crumble first (especially if stored in a cupboard, that is emitting formaldehyde vapours from cheap particle board).
When changing the capillary array, make sure to perform the water wash before removal of the old array, followed by capillary rinse with MiliQ water
(Manual control->Polymer delivery pupm -> fill 80cm array), and do this fill for 20 - 200 times:

Make sure to store old array ONLY in water filled state!
PS: I do hope that some after-market manufacturer(s) starts making compatible arrays for ABI machines.

Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) do not code for proteins but play important roles in numerous cellular processes including gene silencing, developmental pathways, and more. There are numerous types including microRNA (miRNA), long ncRNA (lncRNA), circular RNA (circRNA), and more. In this article, we discuss innovative ncRNA research and explore recent technological advancements that improve the study of ncRNAs.

Metagenomics has improved the way researchers study microorganisms across diverse environments. Historically, studying microorganisms relied on culturing them in the lab, a method that limits the investigation of many species since most are unculturable1. Metagenomics overcomes these issues by allowing the study of microorganisms regardless of their ability to be cultured or the environments they inhabit. Over time, the field has evolved, especially with the advent...-
