About Us
Our Mission
Our mission is to advance scientific research and discovery by sharing knowledge and enabling collaboration. We have created an open-access community of members from diverse backgrounds to freely learn and discuss the development and utilization of sequencing technologies.
Our History
SEQanswers was established by Eric C. Olivares (ECO) in 2007, aiming to foster scientific collaboration and communication. The platform quickly attracted tens of thousands of members, emphasizing transparent, honest, and open dialogue among end-user scientists. In 2022, Biocompare took over SEQanswers, further enhancing Eric's foundational work. Under Biocompare's stewardship, the platform has seen numerous enhancements, including editorial articles, news, eBooks, webinars, newsletters, and more. Today, the SEQanswers team remains deeply committed to facilitating scientific discovery and bolstering the community.
SEQanswers Staff
SEQanswers is currently run with the support of Biocompare, the leading resource for up-to-date product information, product reviews, and new technologies for life scientists. Benjamin Atha is the editor and oversees all the editorial content for the site.
