Hello people,
I am very new to Bioinformatics and I currently have the following problem to face: I used BLAST to identify sequences coding for virulence effectors in 4 closely related genomes.
Now that I have Blast Hits of a particular effector in multiple genomes, how can I identify Snps in that sequence?
I uploaded my files once to the Snpsfinder at Los Alamos but there I get Snps for the complete genomes and I cannot locate my BLAST-Hits in that file.
Did anybody here once have similar problems?
