I'm currently working on some protein-protein interaction networks in Cytoscape with my data, and I'm interested in finding out the directionality (if any) for all the interactions in my data set.
I was told that I should be able to do this with a PSI-MITAB file of interactions that correspond to mine, but I have yet to understand how to read the file. As far as I can tell from the column names, specifications and vigorous googling there is no information about the directionality for any given interaction in the file. Am I stupidly missing it somehow, or was I misinformed? Or is it simple that the direction is inferred by the order of the interactors (i.e. A --> B)?
