Problem to install gene pattern on linux from a war file. Help please!!!!

Hi everybody.
I tried several times to install genepattern from the war. file on my pc.
I followed all the step that i found on:

but unfortunatelly i'm not able to start genepattern on the server using tomcat6.
When I try to complete the installation by connecting to the GenePattern web application at the installFrame.jsp page the server looks running but nothing goes on

I used tomcat 6 and i went to the following link
http://erizzo.unipv.it:8080/gp/installFrame.jsp, where erizzo and unipv.it are the host and domain that I used.

I modified the GenePatternURL on the genepattern.properties file using http://erizzo.unipv.it:8080//gp//

Did anyone had the same problems?

From the GenePattern Lead developer:

I recommend that you use our installer, which will deploy Tomcat 5 for you and get you up and running quickly and easily.
It is not that uncommon to have multiple Tomcat servers running, if you must support other web applications.
