    Hi,
i am new in this arena. Is there any biological database that can provide the all diseases names associated with proteins, drugs, genes. Is there any database exist that i can use?
    Thanks

    Hello

I would like to point you to Biobase's PROTEOME, a tool for functional classification and analysis.

    It allows you to:
Quickly access detailed reports for individual genes, diseases, and drugs without tedious and time consuming literature searches.
Uncover biologically relevant connections between seemingly disparate genes, diseases, and drugs; along with many other functionalities.

You can find more information and video tutorials about Proteome here:

Let me know if you may need any further information.

      Hi,
      Thanks Bhanu at first.
Would u please help me to access the api of proteome by C# or any good tutorial for this?

In case you are looking for freely avilable options start with the OMIM database.

          OMIM - http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/omim

Once you look up a disease/gene of interest, look for a table of "External links" on the right hand side of the record page.

PharmGKB : http://www.pharmgkb.org/index.jsp Would be another great resource to look up information related to pharmacogenomics.

          GeneTests: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/Ge.../?db=GeneTests
Provides a gene centric portal for medical genetics information.

Essential Discoveries and Tools in Epitranscriptomics
            by seqadmin

The field of epigenetics has traditionally concentrated more on DNA and how changes like methylation and phosphorylation of histones impact gene expression and regulation. However, our increased understanding of RNA modifications and their importance in cellular processes has led to a rise in epitranscriptomics research. “Epitranscriptomics brings together the concepts of epigenetics and gene expression,” explained Adrien Leger, PhD, Principal Research Scientist...

            Current Approaches to Protein Sequencing
            by seqadmin

Proteins are often described as the workhorses of the cell, and identifying their sequences is key to understanding their role in biological processes and disease. Currently, the most common technique used to determine protein sequences is mass spectrometry. While still a valuable tool, mass spectrometry faces several limitations and requires a highly experienced scientist familiar with the equipment to operate it. Additionally, other proteomic methods, like affinity assays, are constrained...
