This question has been asked before, yet I could find no posts with actual solutions. SOAPdenovo2 outputs a plethora of files, (*.contig, *.scafSeq, *.contigPosinscaff, etc.).

However I'm trying to use consed, which just wants a .ace file. I have been unable to find a solution, has anyone out there been able too? Or am I plain out of luck?
I used SOAPdenovo as it has so far been the only assembler I've been able to get a full run with on the cluster available to me without exhausting all available memory (velvet, allpaths, and mira3 have all done just that).... so using a new assembler isnt too viable of an option.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
