Hi all,
I've just put together a quick wrapper script for liftOver that some people may find useful, called niceLiftOver. It takes an input file in any format and lifts over the co-ordinates to a new genome whilst leaving all other data in place.
The script tries to guess the delimiter and which columns contain chromosome, start and end positions. Alternatively, these can be specified with command line flags.
niceLiftOver is released under a GPLv3 licence. There's a short blog post about it here and you can download it from GitHub: https://github.com/tallphil/niceLiftOver
Any bug reports or suggestions welcome..
Phil
