    HTSeq downloading into windows problem

I have downloaded Numpy and have tested in python with "Import numpy" to verify that it worked (it did!), but now I am trying to import HTSeq; I downloaded the version for windows: HTSeq-0.6.1.win32-py2.7.exe (md5), and it automatically installed when I clicked on it (very easy!), but when I go into python and type 'import HTSeq' I get an error that says : File "C:\Python27\lib\site-packages\HTSeq\_init_.py", line 144, in (module) _re_attr_main = re.compile( "\s*([^\s=]+)[\s=)+(.*)" ) NameError: name 're' is not defined.

I have tried import re, and that works fine ... so not sure how to proceed to fix this; any help will be appreciated. Thanks!
