Qiime - plot_taxa_summary.py problem

Hello everyone!

I am trying to analyze my samples using Qiime prtocol for 16S metagenomic data. I have problem with plot_taxa_summary.py command. I try to analyze only 1 sample - approx. 150.000 reads - and everything goes quite well until I apply plot_taxa_summary.py script. Whole process takes more than 1 day (I don't how log it takes because allmost everything crashes down sfter few hours and I have to restart my system). Is this normal? Is there any posibillity to use more than only single core to make calculations much more faster? Any other tips?
