    Are the genes of my set closer to each other than a set of random genes?

    Hi all!

    I have a set of 40 human genes. I am curious to know if the genes of this set are located closer to each other in the human genome than a random set of 40 genes.

    Does anyone have an idea on how I could approach this problem, because I am completely lost for any ideas?
