Consumable options for PE Zephyr
Hi all,
We recently bought a Perkin Elmer Zephyr liquid handling system. Overall we are really happy with it, but the consumable prices are a bit limiting for some users of our labs.
We were wondering if anyone has tried different pipette tip manufacturers?
Currently we are using the 150 uL Barrier Tips made by BioRobotix and distributed by Caliper, which come to about AUD 17 per 96 tips.
Also, has anyone trialed different hardshell 96 well plates?
At the moment we are using the blue bio-rad plates, but they are also on the more expensive side.
