RNAseq from fixed tissue?

Hi all,
I am attempting to isolate RNA from an extremely fragile GFP labeled tissue. Is there any way that I can fix tissue to preserve RNA such that it will work for RNAseq as this will make my dissection easier. if there is a fixsation method is there any specific isolation kit that I need to use. Thanks in advance
