Hi all,
I have been working in the field of Genomics for the past 20 years or so. A veteran molecular geneticist with limited knowledge of bioinformatics.
Recently we have purchased a Roche GS Junior instrument and I am trying to make it work for our projects. Our main interest is in metagenomics and RNA-Seq at the moment. Just had a feel about this exciting technology by performing a few preliminary sequencing runs. SEQanswers have helped me immensely to understand the nitty-gritty of various technical aspects. Hopefully will be able to produce lots of interesting data in near future.
