Hello,
Fairly new to the bioinformatics field. Just graduated a few months ago and I got a job in a Bioinformatics lab at Texas A&M while I apply to graduate school. I mostly work with a genome browser, called GBrowse. I read high throughput papers, mostly ChIP-chip, and try to make tracks on this browser that represents the corresponding microarray data that can be found in Sup material or GEO. Alot of my questions revolve around file formats (such as wiggles), better understanding of what is being done/is to be done to a data set before uploading it to a track, and other more general questions. The PI of the lab suggested I try SEQanswers for help; so here I am introducing myself. Hope to receive a bit of help, and even return the favor if able.
