It took me a few tries, but I finally found a title that failed to find similar threads 
I think the whole idea of a community answering each other's questions in this manner is a wonderful idea. I feel it's the least I can do to at least introduce myself.
My name is Jobin K. Varughese, I live in Bergen, Norway. I work as a medical doctor, but I'm also involved in a research group that is currently working on various cancer models. My task is to try to learn some basic bioinformatics methods, particularly within the field of RNA sequencing. I'm doing this largely on a learn-as-I-go basis, which is both fun (because I have no idea where my next step will take me) and confusing (because I have no idea where my next step will take me). Mostly fun though.
