    Expressions of interest are invited from bioinformatics and data analysis researchers who wish to advance their academic career as an EMBL Australia Partner Laboratory Group Leader hosted at the Department of Genome Sciences at The John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR), The Australian National University (ANU). The successful applicant will have the opportunity to build their research team as well as collaborating with experimentalist colleagues to advance bioinformatics in different biomedical research contexts.

    JCSMR is a multidisciplinary biomedical research institution situated within the leafy ANU campus in central Canberra, Australia’s national capital. It supports a vibrant culture of academic enquiry across four departments focussing on the immunology and infectious disease, cancer, neuroscience as well as genome biology. EMBL Australia is a scientific network consisting of partner laboratories that are embedded with premier research institutions around Australia. It further links Australian research with EMBL in Europe and the European Bioinformatics Institute.
