    BACKGROUND:
    Cofactor Genomics is based in St. Louis, MO and provides sequencing and analysis services to academic and industry clients. We are a small company committed to changing the service sequencing paradigm by offering our customers front-to-back solutions; experimental design, next-generation sequencing, and advanced analytics for their work. Our dedication and constant attentiveness to customer needs, coupled with rapid technological integration is what makes us a leader in our industry.

    Cofactor Genomics is growing and evolving at a rapid pace. This is an exciting time at Cofactor and we seek a talented perl/java developer to help support our service and custom Next-Generation sequencing operations. Cofactor is a progressive company, looking for progressive and forward thinking individuals to join our team.

    Key Responsibilities Include:
    * Working with the Analysis team to meet the teams monthly Analysis goals
    * Refactor current code base to improve performance and add features to our DNA sequencing analysis offerings

    REQUIREMENTS:
    We seek demonstrated accomplishment in some or all of the following skills:
    * Skilled programmer in Perl, Java and/or C/C++
    * Excellent communication skills are a must. You will work both as part of the Cofactor team and with Cofactor's collaborators, partners, and customers.
    * Unix/Linux Operating systems

    COMPENSATION:
    Salary will be based on applicants skill set and previous experience.
