Our lab recently starts analyzing whole genome data. Before we have been using our own local infrastructure to analyze exome dating, from mapping fastq reads to reference, score recalibration, local realignment, calling variations...etc.
It turns out our local infrastructure is incapable to support whole genome analysis. The data is often too big for our server to handle, and the analysis time is way too long.
For those who have faced a similar situation or working on WGS...how do you guys do it? Suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
