Thanks Richard! I was a bit out of my microbial area of expertise with this question.

    There is one donor ...

Searching for "hapmap "Homo sapiens"[porgn:__txid9606] and rna-seq" in GEO
    Then search for "hapmap".
    This record: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/geo/quer...i?acc=GSE19481
Check links to commerical provider (Coriell) .. it contains one CHB B-cell(?) rna-seq ...

This query "hapmap and asian and "Homo sapiens"[porgn] and rna-seq" turn up another record.

there's also some RNA-seq from the YRI population: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/geo/quer...?acc=GSM453869

I was also looking for some of the Chinese populations.

It's hard to figure out where things are, but there is at least some hapmap CEU sample RNAseq (eg) http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/geo/quer...i?acc=GSE25030 in GEO?

    started a topic RNA-seq data

    RNA-seq data

    Hi,
Does anybody know where I could get RNA-seq data from the HAN Chinese hapmap/1k genomes population. RNA-seq derived from the cell lines from these individuals. I can't find any of this on the GEO or SRA, but can find other populations.
    thanks

Multiomic Liquid Biopsy: What DNA/RNA Panels Reveal That DNA Alone Can’t
    by SEQadmin2

Tumors contain complex mixtures of cell populations that evolve in response to treatment and host-specific factors. Tissue biopsies provide only static snapshots of a tumor’s state. But what if we could follow that evolution over time using a minimally invasive technique?

Liquid biopsies can detect tumor-derived material circulating in the bloodstream, providing a way to study treatment response, detect emerging resistance, and discover new biomarkers. Circulating

New Genomics Technologies Take Aim at Long-Standing Limits
    by SEQadmin2

Researchers using sequencing and genomics tools often have to make trade-offs. They can choose between speed or scale, short reads or long-range information, or targeted panels or a view of the whole transcriptome. New technologies that have been released this year are built to address those tough choices.

We asked six companies the same four questions to learn about their latest products. The new technologies bring a lot to the table, including rethinking sequencing
