    removing mids

    Hi
    I want to separate the sequences according to the different mids and then to trim the mids, but those are "home made" mids (we planned them), and not the 454 mids. Is it possible via the sff tools? how?

    Have a look at the documentation for sfffile.

      generate your own mid configuration file (have a look at the default file) and use it with the sfffile command (-mcf ..).
