    error in installing Newbler 2.5.3

I'm having difficulties in installing Newbler 2.5.3. My server is Ubuntu.

According to the README file, I just needed to type ./setup.sh
However, the installation failed and output these messages below. What did I miss?

    Verifying archive integrity... All good.

The 'xterm' part means that you need a X-windows connection to your machine. You can run setup.sh with a '--nox11' option to keep from needing this.

      ./setup.sh --nox11

I ran this command. However, I still received the same error message?

Hum. That is interesting. I presume that when you do a './setup.sh --help' then you get the help. If so note that the program says that '--nox11' option stops the xterm.

If you are not get a help message with the '--nox11' message then that would be a root cause of your problem. At this point it gets hard to remotely troubleshoot your problem.

When I typed ./setup.sh --help, it did show me --nox11 as an option.
          What should I do next?

[options] can be one of the following things (all are optional):

          General:
          --help, -h Print this message.
--info, -i Print some info about this installer.
--check, -c Check integrity of the archive.
          --frontend, -f <fr> Specify frontend

          Advanced:
--keep Do not erase temporary target directory.
--nox11 Do not spawn an xterm.
--target dir Sets target directory for core contents (default is a temporary directory).
--tar arg1 [arg2 ...] Access the core contents of the archive through the tar command.

At this point I do not know what else to do. Aside from calling 454 tech support, of course. If you are proficient in looking at and troubleshooting shell scripts then you might be able to get around the xterm problem. But really the best bet is tech support.

You might have to install ncurses because newblerinstaller uses these, even if you don't have X server installed. Just google around for "installing ncurses" or speak with your IT guys.
