Does Picard remove reads aligned to multiple locations?

Hey all,

I'm interested in aligning reads to all possible locations and playing around with things. I realize as I'm typing this I can probably test this out to figure it out, but I'm curious if anybody knows if Picard will remove duplicate reads if both reads align to multiple locations and at least one of these locations overlaps? If not, does anybody know an easy way to do this? Thanks!
