    Exon position

    Hi,

    Can anyone please help?

I have cSNP with its position on chromosome 17. However, how can I find which exon that this SNP is sitting on?

    Please advise.

    Thanks.

You can use Ensembl Biomart http://www.ensembl.org/biomart/martv...39c4c8c5dfdcdf, you can filter the genes of interest and select the attributes you want, like the position of the exons in the chromosome and the position in the gene, if you want know the position of several SNP you can download the data obtained in Ensembl and make a script or similar to browse all this positions.

I hope this can help you.
