Is there are any alternative for GBrowse, I mean they can display alignment results and can be implemented online as webpages ??

I ended up using Gbrowse, I took me forever to install it!! but finally I got it. But it seems there are many other alternatives. I have not tried any though.

Ya, same with me man.
Its been three months already, they fixed patches for latest ones. But new prerequisites.
My PC aint detecting new installations, most don't have uninstall options.

So now I am gonna turn to Windows from Linux.

A couple of suggestions:

- JBrowse is a fast, slick, AJAX-based replacement for GBrowse; there are a few GBrowse features that haven't yet been implemented in JBrowse, but the developers are extremely responsive to user questions and requests.

- GMOD in the Cloud is an Amazon machine image that allows you to have your own virtual server, complete with GBrowse, JBrowse, a Chado DB, Tripal DB interface, and Apollo annotation editor. Clone the AMI, upload your data, and Bob's your uncle! You've got a fully working GBrowse installation with no need to spend hours installing the perl prereqs.
