    Announce new tool: FusionAnalyser

    Dear all,

FusionAnalyser, a new graphical, event-driven tool tool dedicated to the identification of driver fusion rearrangements in human cancer through the analysis of paired-end high-throughput transcriptome sequencing data is now available at:

You are welcome to test it and give us a feedback!

I downloaded several times, It instaled- nothing is happening after that and perhaps you may like to make it prominent how to use it after instalation. I dont see any icon or program to start it

      Hello honey,

you can find a detailed FusionAnalyser manual here:

      http://nar.oxfordjournals.org/conten...s394/suppl/DC1

      The manual is in File006.zip

About your install problem: I assume you're downloading the Windows version, right?
If so, during the install process the system should prompt you for a install folder. At the end of the install process the FusionAnalyser.exe should be in that folder.
For a detailed install procedure you may go here:

      or check the manual.

      Regards,
      Rocco

Multiomic Liquid Biopsy: What DNA/RNA Panels Reveal That DNA Alone Can’t
        by SEQadmin2

Tumors contain complex mixtures of cell populations that evolve in response to treatment and host-specific factors. Tissue biopsies provide only static snapshots of a tumor’s state. But what if we could follow that evolution over time using a minimally invasive technique?

Liquid biopsies can detect tumor-derived material circulating in the bloodstream, providing a way to study treatment response, detect emerging resistance, and discover new biomarkers. Circulating

New Genomics Technologies Take Aim at Long-Standing Limits
        by SEQadmin2

Researchers using sequencing and genomics tools often have to make trade-offs. They can choose between speed or scale, short reads or long-range information, or targeted panels or a view of the whole transcriptome. New technologies that have been released this year are built to address those tough choices.

We asked six companies the same four questions to learn about their latest products. The new technologies bring a lot to the table, including rethinking sequencing
