Hi! I am completely new to bioinfomatics so this question may be stupid. How do you downloaded a bunch of files from your harddrive to an offsite hpc account?

Talk to your computer IT person they should be able to help you. It may be involve few lines of codes to move to hpcc if files are not there already -
I figured it out!
If anyone needs it in the future:
If you need to transfer a folder full of files, the code is:
scp -r folder_name [email protected]:/some/directory
