GENOMESPACE: Anyone using it yet?

The Broad has released what seems like an awesome effort to smooth out complex bioinformatic workflows.

I am just starting to play with it but it claims to handle all file-format conversions in the background, and operates on uploaded files or things stored at Amazon.

Definitely worth checking out now and as it develops:

I remember trying to try this out a while back and getting login errors. Today it is the same:

The server at identity.genomespace.org is taking too long to respond.

Even with a new login the same occurs. Yes, I am using a supported browser -- either Chrome v.20 or Firefox. The genomespace-users group is less-than-active with the last post on June 29th. :-( So it is hard to get excited. Ah well, I'll see if the email address is responsive.

Turns out that my problem was the firewall I am going through. GenomeSpace's identity program requests access to port 8444. A bit irritating.
