Has anyone had problems launching the Hadoop jobs with the Pathseq_launch.com script? For some reason, the "hadoop dfsadmin -report" command doesn't return anything when run on the ec2 instance. I can log into the cloud instance and run a sample Hadoop job (the pi example that comes with the distro) but not sure why none of the data nodes are listed in the report command.

I recommend you to re-create your AMI.
