    Cancer specific genes

    Hi,

    I am sequencing a eukaryotic genome and am trying to find cancer related genes.How should I proceed with finding these genes in an unknown eukaryotic genome? Should I make my own database of cancer specific genes like P53 and perform BLAST? I am confused about how to start this work. Any inputs?
