    ABI SOLiD Bioinformatic Services

Does anyone know of a fee for service facility that performs analytical services for ABI SOLiD data ? My colleagues and I have generated and are generating data for several projects and are looking for someone to assist with variant identication. Both are resequencing projects.

Any suggestions or help you can give would be greatly appreciated !
    Thank you !

There is a services section on seqanswers but I have not seen many people offering bioinformatics services for SOLiD. We were recently approached to do some SOLiD services however most of our work has been with the Illumina platform.
I have had a look at the ABI community software site and it's pretty well organized. If you have an idea of a workflow you would like to implement around your SOLiD data then perhaps contact me privately for more information about what we're doing.

Our company - Astrid Research - does provide ABI Solid data analysis services. We have developed software tools for sequence trimming, read error correction, de novo sequencing, reference sequencing, SNP identification, InDel identification, ChIP-Seq, transcriptome analysis, expression profiling.

Besides we provide custom analysis using a comprehensive statistical framework tool based on R and Bioconductor.

In addition we have developed a tool to supersede GeneSpring. Our solution has the same feature set but it is not wizard-like and has functions like set operation, gene synonym conversion, specific site identification, etc. Users can work with all known statistical methods, not only a selected few.

Beyond CRISPR/Cas9: Understand, Choose, and Use the Right Genome Editing Tool
        by SEQadmin2

CRISPR/Cas9 sparked the gene editing revolution for both research and therapeutics.1 But this system still showed severe issues that limited its applications. The most prominent were the heavy reliance on PAM sequences, delivery limitations, double-stranded breaks that prompt unintended edits and cell death, and editing inefficiency (both in targeting and in knock-in reliability).

Despite this, “CRISPR helped turn genome editing from a specialized technique into

Proteomic Platforms: How to Choose the Right Analytical Strategy to Improve Detection and Clinical Applications
        by SEQadmin2

Proteomics platforms are evolving rapidly, with advances in mass spectrometry and affinity-based approaches expanding what researchers can detect and at what scale. As the field moves toward deeper proteome coverage and clinical applications, scientists face an increasingly complex landscape of tools. This article will explore how researchers are navigating these choices to find the right platform for their work.

The systematic characterization of the human proteome has
