    Noise reads in picard

    Hi all

    I was looking at the alignmentSummary stats produced by picard and it has a column as PF_noise_reads. I was wondering if anyone knew how does piccard report these noise reads, though in the manual it says it is a stretch of Ns or As, it does not give any other details. Did not find any info about this in the CIGAR string or in the other optional fields info.
