Hi My undergraduation is in Biotechnology and I want to do masters in Bioinformatics.I am interested in both programming and proteomics and genomics as well.What speacilizations are there in bioinformatics which requires programming thanks in advance

Hi,

imho everything in proteomics and genomics can be supported by decent knowledge in CS. Therefore, programming is a big part in the work around of proteomics and/or genomic data. Especially, since the "next" or "next next" generation sequencer become more and more popular....
