How to add heater to the hts-count output file in linux?

    Hi every one,
I have htseq-count file as follows:

    GB40001-RA 2 2 0 2 2 4
    GB40002-RA 0 0 1 0 0 0
    GB40003-RA 3 3 1 1 0 5
    GB40004-RA 1 0 0 0 0 0

I'd like to add header to it to get following one in linux:

    ID CK1 CK2 CK3 CA1 CA2 CA3
    GB40001-RA 2 2 0 2 2 4
    GB40002-RA 0 0 1 0 0 0
    GB40003-RA 3 3 1 1 0 5
    GB40004-RA 1 0 0 0 0 0

Is there anyone who know how to do it?

    Thanks a lot!!

    Richard

    that's easy

    Code:
    echo -e "ID\tCK1\tCK2\t..." > file_with_header.count
    cat file.count >> file_with_header.count
    \t means tab

use spaces "ID CK1 CK2 ..." if you have only spaces between columns...

      Thanks a lot, deitmar13!
It works, but a '\t' should be added before 'ID'.

16S/ITS Profiling vs. Shotgun Metagenomics: What Changes in Your Workflow?
        by SEQadmin2

NGS has revolutionized clinical microbiology by offering new ways to identify and surveil pathogens without prior knowledge of the target. One popular approach is 16S rRNA and ITS amplicon sequencing, which targets specific microbial markers. But studies are increasingly incorporating shotgun metagenomics, a technique that sequences all DNA from a sample without targeting specific microbial markers. This approach allows more detailed taxonomic classification, detection...

Multiomic Liquid Biopsy: What DNA/RNA Panels Reveal That DNA Alone Can’t
        by SEQadmin2

Tumors contain complex mixtures of cell populations that evolve in response to treatment and host-specific factors. Tissue biopsies provide only static snapshots of a tumor’s state. But what if we could follow that evolution over time using a minimally invasive technique?

Liquid biopsies can detect tumor-derived material circulating in the bloodstream, providing a way to study treatment response, detect emerging resistance, and discover new biomarkers. Circulating
