GDC Analysis Tool Challenge

Here is a announcement for the GDC Analysis Tool Challenge, with a registration deadline of 11/25/2024. Follow the link to the challenge site to register. The challenge has $50k in available prizes and a chance for increased visibility for your bioinformatics tool. If you are an analysis tool creator, this is an opportunity to have a tool integrated with the Genomic Data Commons (https://portal.gdc.cancer.gov/), the largest respository of harmonized cancer genomic data:

Registration for the GDC Analysis Tool Challenge has been extended until 11/25/2024.

The GDC Analysis Tool Challenge is a community competition and collaboration to integrate analysis tools with the GDC. Challenge objectives are:

1) Provide the research community with a novel analysis tool to analyze data in the GDC in support of cancer research,

2) Use the GDC Analysis Tool Software Development Kit (SDK) to integrate an Analysis Tool with the GDC Data Portal using data available in the GDC

Winning analysis tools will be made available in the GDC Data Portal Analysis Center to reach a broader audience of cancer researchers.

Details on the GDC Analysis Tool Challenge and registration are available on the GDC Analysis Tool Challenge Site. Interested participants must register by November 25, 2024.
