Single-Cell Analysis with Bioconductor - livestream seminar

    Hi everyone

Instats is excited to offer a 2-day seminar, Single-Cell Analysis with Bioconductor, running livestreaming September 5 – 19 and led by Director of Computational Biology from Harvard Medical School, professor Ludwig Geistlinger. Over four live sessions you’ll work in R/Bioconductor to learn end-to-end workflows: data import, quality control, dimensionality reduction, clustering, cell-type identification, multi-sample differential expression, and effective visualisation. The course also demonstrates seamless hand-offs to Seurat, Scanpy/scverse, and public atlases (e.g. Human Cell Atlas) so you can integrate reference annotations or environmental metadata. By the end, you will be able to design and analyse single-cell experiments that reveal fine-scale data patterns, adding a new layer of resolution to your research with single-cell analysis and beyond.

Sign up today to secure your spot and please share with your colleagues and students!

    Best wishes

16S/ITS Profiling vs. Shotgun Metagenomics: What Changes in Your Workflow?
    by SEQadmin2

NGS has revolutionized clinical microbiology by offering new ways to identify and surveil pathogens without prior knowledge of the target. One popular approach is 16S rRNA and ITS amplicon sequencing, which targets specific microbial markers. But studies are increasingly incorporating shotgun metagenomics, a technique that sequences all DNA from a sample without targeting specific microbial markers. This approach allows more detailed taxonomic classification, detection...

Multiomic Liquid Biopsy: What DNA/RNA Panels Reveal That DNA Alone Can’t
    by SEQadmin2

Tumors contain complex mixtures of cell populations that evolve in response to treatment and host-specific factors. Tissue biopsies provide only static snapshots of a tumor’s state. But what if we could follow that evolution over time using a minimally invasive technique?

Liquid biopsies can detect tumor-derived material circulating in the bloodstream, providing a way to study treatment response, detect emerging resistance, and discover new biomarkers. Circulating
