We work on Neurospora, a organism not in UCSC database. We want to use picard tools but it requires a RefFlat file. I try to use gff3ToGenePred to convert our GFF3 file but the program doesn't work and gave a error message as
"segmentation error (core dumped)".
The other one gtpToGenePred, also gave similar error messages, as well as a few other UCSC utilities.
I also tried a another tools termed Bio-toolbox, which has a perl script but it also reported errors. I am just wondering who can help me fix this or if one of those software you know work for you, can you please help me to convert it and send it to me? Many thanks!
