Error in VST package of DESeq

Hi guys,
Is the VST package of DESeq still functional? Because most of the functions of VST including getVarianceStabilizedData() seem to be dysfunctional in R version 3.0.1 and DESeq version 1.12.1. Please help. Is this just a version trouble?

Dear Ayana

the DESeq package is still supported including the getVarianceStabilizedData function etc. It is not clear what you mean by 'dysfunctional'? If you have a problem, can you please post a reproducible example of the code you are running and in what ways it does not do what you think it should.

In addition:

• we now recommend using DESeq2 for new projects.
• you might benefit from using a newer R (current release is R3.1)
