    Xenome not outputting FASTQ formatted files?

    Any users of Xenome run into this? You start with an input file that follows FASTQ format (line 1 begins with @ and line 3 begins with +):
    Code:
    @HISEQ03:124:C3R2RACXX:5:1101:2218:1990 1:N:0:TGACCA
    ATGCNAACTACATTGCCTGGTGTCAAGGTGGGAAAATCCTCTTTTATAACATAAAATCCTCTTCTAATCCATGTTGACCCAAGTCCTGGCTGTCTGAGGG
    +
    <BBF#0BBFFFFFFFFIIBFFFBFFBFF<FFFIFFFFF<FFBFIIFFFFFFIIFFFIIIIIIIIIIBFIFFFFFFBFFBFFFFBBBBBBBB<BBBBBBBB
    but the output loses the @ and + and is then not recognized by Tophat and probably other programs:
    Code:
    HISEQ03:124:C3R2RACXX:5:1101:2218:1990 1:N:0:TGACCA
    ATGCNAACTACATTGCCTGGTGTCAAGGTGGGAAAATCCTCTTTTATAACATAAAATCCTCTTCTAATCCATGTTGACCCAAGTCCTGGCTGTCTGAGGG

    <BBF#0BBFFFFFFFFIIBFFFBFFBFF<FFFIFFFFF<FFBFIIFFFFFFIIFFFIIIIIIIIIIBFIFFFFFFBFFBFFFFBBBBBBBB<BBBBBBBB
    Is there some reason here that I don't understand for the output files to lose this?

    Thanks!

    Well I just added an awk script to the end of it that looks like this. Hacky but it works:
    Code:
    awk '{if (NR % 4 == 1) print \"@\"$0; else if (NR % 4 == 3) print \"+\"$0; else print $0 }'

      Multiomic Liquid Biopsy: What DNA/RNA Panels Reveal That DNA Alone Can’t
      by SEQadmin2

      Tumors contain complex mixtures of cell populations that evolve in response to treatment and host-specific factors. Tissue biopsies provide only static snapshots of a tumor’s state. But what if we could follow that evolution over time using a minimally invasive technique?

      Liquid biopsies can detect tumor-derived material circulating in the bloodstream, providing a way to study treatment response, detect emerging resistance, and discover new biomarkers. Circulating

      New Genomics Technologies Take Aim at Long-Standing Limits
      by SEQadmin2

      Researchers using sequencing and genomics tools often have to make trade-offs. They can choose between speed or scale, short reads or long-range information, or targeted panels or a view of the whole transcriptome. New technologies that have been released this year are built to address those tough choices.

      We asked six companies the same four questions to learn about their latest products. The new technologies bring a lot to the table, including rethinking sequencing
