    Using CisGenome for ChIP-seq analysis

    Hello everybody, please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I am using CisGenome in order to analyse ChIP-seq results.
    Before analysing real results, I have to train myself with data given by the website :

    http://www.biostat.jhsph.edu/~hji/ci...s/download.htm.

    I can download :
    - a genome database (human : hg18 on the website)
    - a sample data (hg18)

    Now I want use CisGenome,
    (from Tutorial 2: ChIP-Seq Data Analysis, in the website)
    First step:
    I load the genome database
    Second step:
    I have to give an alignement (sequencing -> BAR files)

    But I don't have any alignement actually, because it's just for training.
    So how can I get this kind of data? Is it possible to create one using BLAST or do you know where can I download an alignment example.
    I'am like a chicken in front of a knife... (french expression which means : I'm lost)

    I am sorry if this question is ridiculous but I am a beginner in bioinformatics.
    In fact, I'm a trainee and I have made only 5 months of studies.
    Moreover, I apologize for my bad english. So if you understand nothing to my problem or if you need more information, I will try to explain clearlier.

      Yes I downloaded it but the problem is located in my bad knowledge in english... I tried to make a One sample analysis (wihtout negative control) on sample data for Two sample analysis (with negative control) due to a misunderstood....

      French powaaaaaaa!

        Love this - good data definitely starts from good input, and poor input can only give relatively poor data. I particularly like the mention of Nanodrop/absorbance based methods for quantification. It's such a toss up if you'll get an accurate reading or what amounts to a randomly generated number, and a lot of library/sequencing related issues can be traced back to poor quant.
