HELP needed- Download Sequence with Taxonomic ID

Hello,

I have NCBI Taxonomic ID for several species, now I want to download nucleotide sequence using this taxonomic id. Could someone please help me to suggest a way to download sequence using taxonomic id ? I only have taxonomic ID available now to download this.

You can use the taxonomy browser (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Taxonomy/taxonomyhome.html/) or Genome search (e.g. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genome/?term=txid3702[Organism:noexp]). Replace the txID for Arabidopsis with ID's you need. You want to download the full genome sequence, correct?

@GenoMax: For example for taxon id 930171, If i search is NCBI taxonomy it shows me 16 nucleotide sequence. As I have many taxon ID, is there any way I can retrieve sequence automatically using taxon id or any tool that can convert Taxon ID to GI number? thanks for you help .

You may want to use NCBI EUtils, which is a HTTP based service to query Genbank or more precisely the Entrez system from your own programs.
