IonTorrent PGM bacterial genomes missing software

Hi,

I'm a software developer and I have just started to work with genomics using IonTorrent. I was interested on merging different assemblies to improve genome drafts, actually in developing a software to do so. But MAIA does that.

So does anybody has a problem that is worth to implement as a software package, for bacterial genomes using IonTorrent?.
